As a former competitive swimmer and multiple national and regional champion, David knows the needs of athletes and coaches firsthand.
After his career ended, he devoted himself to sports science and earned a doctorate at Karl-Franzens-University Graz. His research took him to New Zealand, Australia, and Gran Canaria.
He founded in 2012 fluidlife with a focus on sport and health. Since 2020 he has been developing with MovAcam Modern, practical camera systems for motion analysis.

The MovAcam system is delivered as a fully preconfigured complete package. It includes two synchronized high-speed cameras (up to 120fps), a preconfigured 14.6" Android tablet with preinstalled MovAcam software, two height-adjustable tripods, a sturdy waterproof transport case with custom foam interior padding, USB hub, extension cables, camera mounts, and all accessories. The system is ready to use in less than 5 minutes.
The MovAcam software license costs from €149 per month (excl. 20% VAT) and includes all software updates, 4 GB cloud storage (hosted in Austria), team management for up to 50 members, and email support. The license is pre-installed on the supplied tablet and ready to use immediately. There are no hidden costs or additional fees.
MovAcam is 100% digitally sovereign. All data is stored and processed exclusively on EU servers. The system is fully GDPR-compliant and meets the highest European data protection standards. As an Austrian company, we are subject to European law – your data never leaves the EU.

MovAcam is universally applicable for almost all sports where motion analysis is relevant. The system has proven especially effective in running analysis, swimming (with optional water system), tennis, volleyball, table tennis, as well as in physiotherapy for Gait analysis and rehabilitation. Companies also use MovAcam for ergonomic analyses at the workplace.
We offer both models: You can purchase the system outright (from €4,990 excl. VAT for the land system) or choose monthly installments over 24 months. With installments, hardware and software are combined in a monthly payment. Additionally, all options include a one-time initial setup with on-site training in Austria for €899.
MovAcam was developed by sports scientists for practical use and offers a complete hardware and software package from a single source. Unlike many competitors, MovAcam is 100% Austria-hosted and GDPR-compliant – your data stays in Europe. The system is ready to use immediately, requires no complicated setup, and offers intuitive operation with the preconfigured tablet. You also benefit from email support and training directly from Austria.
The software license includes up to 50 members. This means you can manage up to 50 athletes, patients, or team members in the app, save their recordings, and track progress over time. For larger organizations like sports associations or universities, we offer custom enterprise solutions with extended capacities.
